#FeesMustFall protesters lock guards in building at CPUT before setting fire to it

Protesting students face charges of attempted murder after a group of them locked two security guards in a building at CPUT’s Bellville campus before setting it alight. It is reported that one of the guards has since passed away.

Police originally opened cases of attempted murder following the students’ actions, but some reports claim one of the security guards died of his injuries, which makes it murder.

Early on Wednesday morning the FeesMustFall protesters descended on the Cape Peninsula University of Technology’s Bellville campus and set the security centre on fire, with the guards locked inside.

I’m speechless???????????????? #Cput
