Power utility Eskom has confirmed that Stage 3 stage load shedding will return this week, starting on Monday, 27 March.

After load shedding was suspended during the day on Sunday, at the time of publishing, South Africa is experiencing Stage 2 load shedding (until 16:00).
This will be followed by Stage 3 between 16:00 and 05:00 on Tuesday.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Stage 1 load shedding will be implemented from 05:00 until 16:00, and Stage 2 load shedding will be in place from 16:00 until 05:00.
As always, Eskom said it would publish a further update should any significant changes occur.

Meanwhile, the City of Cape Town adjusted its schedule following the Eskom announcement – but only for Monday, 27 March.
At the time of publishing, City of Cape Town customers are experiencing Stage 2 load shedding.
That will end at 16:00 on Monday at which time Stage 3 will be implemented until midnight.
