EFF elects convicted murderer to North West executive, Malema approves

Slim pickings make for criminal selections, as Julius defends the appointment of convicted murderer Keobakile “Papiki” Babuile as provincial secretary.

EFF elects convicted murderer

The party’s EFFing election process is making news once again, but for all the wrong reasons. Yip, they’ve not had enough bad press, so they decided to elect two convicted murderers to their provincial executive.

While Papiki was chilling in jail last weekend, the party elected him as provincial secretary… in absentia of course. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the murder and conspiracy to murder  the ANC’s ex regional secretary, David Chika.

Looks like the EFF really just needs a place-holder, until they’ve found a valid candidate to fill the position; party leaders  insisted that nothing is amiss as Babuile is in the process of appealing his conviction. In the mean time, he’s free to be given an EFF top job.

Julius Malema reiterated that “if he is denied, the organisation will relieve him; we won’t even have to ask.”
