Durban woman found dead after Last Seen hitchhiking to work

The Durban woman, Thembelihle Nandi Manda, is reported to have been a breadwinner at home and solely supported her four children.

A Durban woman, Thembelihle Nandi Manda, who was last seen hitchhiking to work has been reportedly found dead.

MISSING DURBAN WOMAN FOUND DEAD

Missing Children South Africa confirmed the death of the Durban woman who had been missing for almost a month.

“It is with great sadness to announce that Thembelihle Manda has been found deceased,” the organisation reported.

FAMILY MEMBER EXPLAINS EVENTS AFTER HITCHHIKING DAY

Family member Musawenkosi Prince Manda wrote on Facebook that Thembelihle worked at Brahman Hills Hotel in Mooi River.

“She stays at work and visits from time to time. She left home for work 3 days ago at 4:00am and she never made it to work kuze kube yinamhlanje (until today). If you hear or see anything related to this please let me know she could be anywhere is SA because at that time she was going to hike,” Musawenkosi alerted the masses days after she went missing. However, the family was reportedly informed by the workplace that Thembelihle did not report for work which sparked worry in the family.

WHAT THE DECEASED LADY WAS WEARING WHEN SHE DISAPPEARED

It is reported that the late Durban woman was last seen wearing a black chef hat and jeans on Felix Dlamini Road while on her way to work at a hotel in Mooi River.

It is further reported that she usually hiked to work due to a lack of transportation.

Thembelihle is reportedly survived by four children, two girls and two boys, with the youngest turning two years old in July.

To make things worse, the Durban woman was the family’s breadwinner, according to reports.
