It was a weekend full of birthday celebrations for footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, who both turned a year older on Sunday, 5 February.
The soccer stars – who play for Al-Nassr and Paris Saint-Germain – celebrated their birthdays with friends and family.
CRISTIANO CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY IN NEW COUNTRY
Turning 38, Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his birthday with his nearest and dearest, including his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr and his fiancee Georgina Rodriguez.
The group were guests at Maravilla Resort in Riyadh and indulged in festivities, including three birthday cakes, an outside fire, and views of the Nofa Wildlife Park.
The Portuguese player relocated to Saudi Arabia in December after signing a contract with new team Al-Nassr.
“Grateful to have spent the day with my family and friends,” Cristiano wrote in an Instagram post.
His fiancee Georgina shared a simple yet touching message on her own page.
She shared: “Happy days to the love of my life. In love with you and what we are together”.

A NIGHT OUT FOR NEYMAR
Unlike Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar went all out for his 31st birthday celebration in Paris, France.
The Brazilian player threw a glamorous rooftop party, attended by many of his pals.
Also attending was his girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi, who gushed over her soccer bae in an Instagram post.
Sharing a picture of them kissing, she wrote: “I told you everything today. I’m putting this little picture here just for the record.
“May your new year be amazing and blessed! May you not lack reasons to celebrate, friends by your side, achievements, many goals and health and may God continue to shield our relationship”.
She added: “I love you! Always count on me”.
