South Africa recorded 2 032 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said on Wednesday.
This brings the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 3 727 208.
This increase of 2 032 new COVID-19 cases represents an 8.6% positivity rate.
A further one COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 100 070 to date.
