South Africa recorded 1 481 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said on Thursday.
This brings the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 3 728 689.
This increase of 1 481 new COVID-19 cases represents a 5.8% positivity rate.
A further three COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 100 075 to date.
