Truck collides into and kills three while changing flat tyre on M4, Durban

Three people have died in a horrific accident on the M4 South bound near Clairwood offramp, Durban on Monday morning.

Three people have been killed in a horrific accident on the M4 Southern Freeway near the Clairwood offramp, in Durban. 

The accident reportedly happened just after 05:00on Monday, 13 June.

THREE KILLED IN CLAIRWOOD CRASH 

ALS Paramedics Medical Services, reportedly arrived on scene to find total carnage, as it’s alleged that the vehicle had broken down after suffering a flat tyre. 

Whilst the three men were busy trying to change the tyre, a truck collided into them. All men, believed to be in their 30s, sustained major injuries. 

“Unfortunately, there was nothing more paramedics could do for them. They were declared deceased at the scene.

“The truck driver was uninjured in the collision. At this stage, the events leading up to the collision are unknown, however, SAPS are in attendance and will be investigating further.”

CORN CAUSES MULTIPLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON M7

Meanwhile, three people were injured in a serious multiple vehicle accident on the M7 Durban bound near the Main Road offramp in Northdene just after 6pm on Thursday evening.

ALS Paramedics Medical Services reportedly arrived on the scene to find what is believed to be corn that had been dropped by a truck all over the road.

“This caused multiple vehicles to crash with two vehicles overturning coming to rest on there roofs. A total of three people sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby Durban hospital for the further treatment that they required.”
