Remember the City of Cape Town Traffic Officer, who recently placed a baby on her back in what appeared to be an accident scene, was recognised by the City of Cape Town despite clout accusations.
While most had forgotten about this touching moment, City of Cape Town councillor Wouter de Vos reminded the citizens about this praiseworthy moment amidst the saluting of the female traffic officer.
“Remember a month or so ago when all and sundry had something to say about the photo on social media of a Traffic Officer with a baby tied to her back?
Many comments were nasty and vindictive, along the lines of “lekker om jou kind werk toe te vat né…”
“Being that was involved, I could not leave it at that. I had to scratch and dig to get to the bottom of the matter.”
