A teenager from Cape Town says he was kidnapped and tortured by white  supremacists. Matthew Knipe said when he was jogging to gym, a bakkie of four men attacked him and dragged him into the vehicle.

The 17-year old said the kidnappers were wearing masks “like the ones in V for Vendetta”.

Knipe said he was then taken to a dark room and tortured with blunt knives, amongst other things.

The teenager escaped and was found with a note strapped to his chest. According to the Daily Voice, the note had the old South African flag and the Nazi-like symbol on it. The note calls for  “honest Christians” to wage a “Great War” against the “Muslim Brotherhood and blacks of this world”. It adds: “The Broederbond will rise again”.

Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut said they are investigating the matter, but are treating the story with suspicion.

“An assault case has been registered,” said Traut.

“We are also looking into the possibility that perjury was committed, however, no one has been arrested as yet,” he said.
