John Schuurman, aka Johnny Rockett, is now seeing all of his chickens come home to roost. The Pretoria-based aggressor – who has been dubbed as a ‘notorious bully’ by AfriForum – is facing THREE separate court cases, after his bad behaviour finally caught up with him.
Johnny Rockett now accused of ‘revenge porn’ offences in Pretoria
The most recent case concerns a woman he used to date. Lindrie Gouws says that Rockett shared her nude photos with friends, distributing them solely with the intention to cause emotional harm. It’s a classic case of revenge porn – an offence which can result in jail time.

“AfriForum’s private prosecution unit in Pretoria helped Lindrie Gouws to open a case after Schuurman apparently distributed intimate photos of Gouws to her friends with the aim of causing her emotional harm and harm. This so-called revenge pornography case is a first for the unit.”

Who is Johnny Rockett? AfriForum lash out at ‘notorious bully’
In a separate and ongoing case, Johnny Rockett is alleged to have assaulted another ex-girlfriend, Milena Hill, breaking her nose in the process. She approached AfriForum out of concern that her case would not proceed, due to her former partner’s alleged contacts within Pretoria SAPS.
What’s more, Rockett is also being taken to court by another AfriForum-assisted victim. Tyron Treurnich, who was lured to the bully’s flat under false pretences before being physically assaulted, has opened a case this week – and his lawyers have a video of this savage beating in their possession.
Gerrie Nel weighs in on Pretoria ‘repeated offender’
AfriForum Advocate Gerrie Nel has denounced Rockett’s ‘reputation’, saying he ‘will not stand for’ abuses of this kind:
