In a post on their Facebook page on Tuesday, 14 March, Royal Bliss Club condemned the assault and death of van Dyk.

Their statement was as follows:

“ALL banned people will stay banned. If you don’t like my rules don’t come to my place.

All Mulder and Hamman family are banned with immediate effect.

You will never be welcome again.

The whole friends group that supports their actions.

You will no longer sit foot near or on my premises.

You were obviously not taught well enough to know the meaning of respect, respect for the elderly and respect for someone’s property or rules.

And in future any person who might think you can cause trouble.

Regardless off who you are, where the f@# you came from, or who your related to if you don’t like my rules stay the f@# home.

Any problems in this regard legal action will be taken as I am tired of Phalaborwa and some of the narrow minded people that stay here and think their children’s behavior is ok.

Don’t make your problem mine. Keep your sjit (sic) home!! No fighting will be tolerated, hate speech, dis respect.

Do I make myself very, but crystal clear.

And no song requests will be allowed anymore!

This will become a place for the elder people since some off the young ones were not taught enough!

Thanks for all the people who are by my side and have been supporting me all along. And even on the night of event.

This was very dramatic.

Still is and it wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t have the support from all my family, friends, relatives.

Thank you. My prayers are with the family. I will assist you as far as I can.” the statement concluded.
