Morney Vos from the Mike Bolhuis Specialised Security Services has confirmed that missing Luschka Taljaard and her four-year-old son Daniel were found safe on Friday night, 6 January, AfriNUUS reports.

Missing woman left willingly

Vos said that more information will be made public later today, 7 January.

He said earlier that Taljaard did not go missing, but instead left willingly.

In a voice note shared on the Andre Snyman eblockwatch facebook page, Henry Geldenhuis from the Transvaal Landbou Unie (TLU) confirmed that no crime was involved and confirmed that Taljaard is safe.

The history behind the disappearance

Taljaard was driving her silver VW Polo from an old age home in Hendrina, going to the shops when they both were said to have gone missing.

They were last spotted at 9:55 on CCTV footage and her car was found abandoned at Kwazamokuhule, a local township.

When the car was found, the lights were on and the car was locked.

In CCTV footage, Taljaard was seen abandoning her vehicle and then entering a silver double cab bakkie with her son.
