Guest taunts police ‘shoot me, shoot me’ at Muldersdrift lodge [WATCH]
Police shot a gun wielding guest, Len Cloete, in the head during a heated altercation at a Muldersdrift lodge at the weekend.

A horror video of the moments a policeman shot a lodge guest, Len Cloete, in the head after the man threatened police with his own gun and disarmed a police woman in Muldersdrift has gone viral on social media.
Cloete is currently in hospital in a coma fighting for his life. It is believed that he was shot in front of his wife Chantel, and his friends at around 00:25 on 13 November.
The video depicts the naked Cloete putting on his undergarment just as an altercation with several police officers at the door of a darkened room ensues.
The man goes off screen, apparently to a bedside table, and reappears brandishing a gun. One of the female police officers is heard warning him, “Now you are playing dangerous,” while another officer calmly adds “guys, guys, guys”.
Clearly agitated, the guest, shouts: “Who is playing dangerous?” He cocks the gun and repeats, shouting louder: “Who is playing dangerous?”
A woman, believed to be his wife is heard saying, “Len, relax”. But he continues waving his gun in his hand, shouting out: “Who is playing dangerous? You F***** coward…come on! You F***** A******””
The woman’s voice is then heard in a coaxing tone saying, “guys, you are supposed to protect us. Really, man.”
Cloete then shouts out again that he is “ashamed” of the police.
The woman then adds: “We are supposed to feel safe by the police. We are not supposed to feel in danger.”
Cloete holds out his gun again and shouts: “The problem is I know how to use this f******” thing…leave my premises please…leave my premises please…I’m not asking you if or when or what.”
A voice is heard at the same time calmly saying: “Staan net agter toe (just stand back)”
Muldersdrift guest goads police ‘shoot me’
But Cloete then provokes the situation as he steps towards a female officer and shouts out as he grabs her gun from her hands “take that gun, shoot me, shoot me.”
A female officer then says, “watch what you are doing sir, watch what you are doing” moments before another police officer is seen on the screen firing a shot at Cloete, hitting him in the head.

Independent Police Investigative Directorate spokesperson Grace Langa said that the Muldersdrift lodge guest had allegedly had a fight with staff at the lodge.
“The manager requested the guest to leave and the lodge will refund him, he refused, the security and manager followed him to his room and requested him to leave, then he became more aggressive,” Langa said.
“Police officers were called to come and assist, further alleged that when the police arrived the guest started fighting with the police. He took out a firearm out of the bed drawer and cocked it and one bullet fell down, and it is alleged the victim disarmed one police officer of his firearm,” Langa said,
