South African billionaire Elon Musk has no plans of allowing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones back on Twitter – believe it or nor, the Tesla founder isn’t exactly a fan and now we know why.

Jones recently lost a lawsuit from parents of children who were killed in the Sandy Hook shooting. For more than a decade, Jones claimed the shooting, which saw 20 children and six staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School, was nothing more than a hoax. But he finally admitted that it wasn’t a hoax not long before he was ordered to pay more than $1 billion in compensation to the affected families.

Since buying Twitter, Elon Musk has reinstated accounts that had been suspended on the platform for tweets that were deemed harmful or offensive. Despite requests from some, Musk has ruled out Alex Jones returning to the social media site, saying in part: “My firstborn child died in my arms. I felt his last heartbeat. I have no mercy for anyone who would use the deaths of children for gain, politics or fame.”

Musk’s first child, Nevada Alexander, was born in 2002 and died after just 10 weeks. He has nine children, including five with his ex-wife Justine. He is also the father of two young children with singer Grimes and shares twins with Shivon Zilis, who is an executive at one of his companies.

In a response video posted to the alternative video site Rumble, Jones said he didn’t care if he was allowed back on Twitter, and listed various other digital platforms where his content remains accessible.

“Don’t blame Musk at the end of the day because he didn’t bring me back. I’m the most controversial figure in the world because I’m the most threatening to the new world order. So don’t expect him to bring me back on day one,” Jones wrote.
