Carl Niehaus reckons President Cyril Ramaphosa needs to come clean about what happened on his farm in Phala Phala, Limpopo. He also accused Ramaphosa of betraying the ANC.

“Cyril Ramaphosa must go he has betrayed the African National Congress. He has betrayed the nation. The crimes that he is alleged to have committed at Phala Phala must be dealt with by the South African Police and by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). The failure of the South African Police and the NPA to have taken action up to now, and we must remember that those charges were laid on the 1st of June, today it’s the 31st of July, which means he is getting special treatment that must end,” Niehaus is quoted as having said.

BACKGROUND: Back in June, former spy boss Arthur Fraser laid criminal charges against Ramaphosa, claiming he concealed the theft of R62 million that had been kept on his farm in Phala Phala, Limpopo. He also alleges that the suspects were kidnapped and interrogated, before being offered money for their silence. Ramaphosa has admitted there was a robbery on his property, but denies being criminally liable and says the monies stolen were proceeds from the sale of cattle on his farm.
