Angel the African Grey Parrot was stolen from her Northcroft home home in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).

The public is asked to help find Angel the Parrot, stolen from her home on Challen Avenue in Northcroft in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) on Saturday, 25 March 2023.

SOMEONE STOLE ANGEL THE PARROT

Angel is an African Grey Parrot. A suspect entered Angel’s home in KZN on Saturday night at about 20:20 and stole the Parrot.

According to the Reaction Unit South African (RUSA), the suspect entered Angel’s home and forced open her cage. He fled with the Parrot bird in the direction of Northern Drive.

RUSA says Angel the Parrot has a ring on her left foot, and she can say the name “Praveen.”

RUSA is asking the public to help find Angel the Parrot.

HOW TO REPORT A CRIME TO THE POLICE

  • To report a crime is free of charge, and a police officer will complete all the necessary documentation.
  • The police will open a docket and investigate the case.
  • If you have been a victim of a crime or have witnessed a crime, you can contact the police by dialing 10111.
  • Alternatively, members of the public can send information via MySAPS App.
  • Callers may opt to remain anonymous.
  • The South African Police Service offers witness protection.

Polly Harridass said even the poor birds are not safe.

Craig Moodley advised RUSA to go to the end of Bridgeville to look for Angel the Parrot. He said addicts steal and take the birds there for the money. “That’s where we found ours (Parrot).” Moodley said.

Moodley says they had to buy their stolen Parrot back.
