ANC loses its spindoctor; that’s two senior resignations in one week

First Stone Sizani resigns as chief whip and now Keith Khoza has resigned as party spokesperson… who’s next?

It would appear that all is not well at Luthuli House. Immediately after the motion of no confidence debate in parliament earlier this week; the ANC’s chief whip Stone Sizani handed in his resignation and sped off to Germany as our new ambassador.

Now the party has announced that a second high-ranking position will be left empty – thankfully not for long, so many cadres to deploy… busy busy busy – after Keith Khoza handed in his resignation.

“The African National Congress regretfully announces the resignation of Comrade Keith Khoza as National Communications Manager of the ANC, effective 1 March 2016,” national spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said in a statement earlier today.

Khoza will be rejoining the Gauteng public (dis)service.

“Since joining the administrative corps of the ANC, Comrade Keith has been an invaluable part of the Department of Information and Publicity and the ANC at large, selflessly serving the movement and for this we thank him.”

“We are confident he will not be lost to the ANC communications machinery and we wish him nothing but the very best in his future.”

Who’ll they be losing next or rather, how many resignations will it take before the party realises that it might have a problem?
