South Africans have weighed in on Advocate Malesela Teffo’s and many feel that the Senzo Myiwa trial is like a never ending movie.

Teffo reprents four of the five accused for the murder of Senzo Meyiwa. He was arrested inside the Pretoria High Court on Thursday afternoon.

Soon after his arrest, Teffo topped social media trends list.

Majority of social media users felt sorry for the Advocate and thought that he was being bullied and victimised by those in power.

During his arrest, Advocate Teffo said he ‘did not know’ why he was being arrested, and claimed that he had not been read his rights at the time.

He also alleged that Police Minister, Bheki Cele and others in power do not want him working on the case and want him to be arrested, however, Cele disputed this and said he did not even know about the arrest.

“I find it alarmingly strange that this arrest should be affected in front of TV cameras that could record it.

“This spectacle smacks of a setup to embarrass the attorney. Why? Why not arrest him in an area away from public viewing,” asked @Clive Barham.

“If the police can explain to the public who instructed them to arrest Adv Teffo with a fraudulent warrant, then the minister can explain further or must be fired. He has failed numerous times to arrest those involved in the Senzo Meyiwa’s saga,” @1dis_man tweeted.
