UCT student and former model Djavan Arrigone, who took a leak on a taxi driver from the balcony at Tiger Tiger, has been sentenced to 200 hours community service.

Takes a special kind of man to whip out his john in front of everyone and pee on an unsuspecting taxi driver just trying to make a living. Well, that special kinda guy will be spending 200 hours scrubbing other folks’ pee from the streets, thanks to the National Institute for Crime Prevention and the Reintegration of Offenders.

The Wynberg Magistrate’s court – favoured venue of entitled youths out to cause kak – back in December convicted the 21 year-old of assault and crimen injuria for slinging racist slurs after taking a leak on the taxi driver.

Astonishingly, the 21 year-old former Boss model said he didn’t care where his pee landed in that moment, even after it became embarrassingly clear that it had struck taxi driver Michelle Nomgcana.

Boss models quickly distanced themselves from Arrigone and want nothing to do with him, who claims he didn’t intend to pee on Nomgcana.

Magistrate Siviwe Yaki was less than impressed with the ‘disgusting incident’ and even though Arrigone was initially sentenced to three years in jail, his sentence was suspended for five years.

“It is even more sad when it is committed by our youth, who are born frees,” Yaki said.
