16-year-old sustains gunshot to the back
A 16-year-old sustained a serious gunshot wound to his back in Delft, Western Cape; paramedics discovered he also had a serious arm injury

In Delft, Western Cape, a gunshot wound to the back seriously injured a 16-year-old boy on Leiden Avenue. Local authorities were already present when ER24 and another service arrived at the scene.

Paramedics find teen with gunshot wound
Upon arrival, medics found the boy lying on the side of the road and quickly assessed his condition. They discovered that he had sustained a gunshot wound to his back and a severe arm injury.
The medics administered advanced life support interventions to the boy before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Although the exact circumstances of the incident are unknown, local authorities were present at the scene and conducted further investigations.
