Brad Binder is MotoGP Rookie of the Year despite crash in Portugal
Brad Binder is the MotoGP Rookie of the year for the 2020 season.

KTM Red Bull Rider Brad Binder sealed the MotoGP Rookie of the Year award at the Portuguese Grand Prix despite crashing out of the race.
Binder is MotoGP Rookie of the year
Binder was taken to a local medical facility after his crash but with Alex Marquez finishing in ninth the South African had enough points in the bag to claim the honour.
The KTM Rider claimed the Czech Grand Prix earlier this season but was tested by a strong second half to the season by Marquez, who had pipped Binder to the Moto2 title in 2019.
Oliveira wins home Grand Prix
KTM Tech 3 rider Miguel Oliveira will join Binder at the factory works team next season and ended off the 2020 term in perfect fashion, claiming victory in his home Grand Prix.
Oliveira powered away from the start and led wire-to-wire in a nerveless display.
Pramac Ducati’s Jack Miller claimed second place while Franco Morbidelli rounded out the podium.
Valentino Rossi bowed out of MotoGP in the end of an era, coming home in 12th place.
