A guaranteed R50 million will be on the line in the next PowerBall draw on Friday, 24 December after yet another rollover. The PowerBall PLUS jackpot is slashed after one lucky player struck the jackpot on Tuesday, 21 December.
The biggest winners in Tuesday’s PB draw were the two individuals that matched five numbers for a dividend of 191 226,50.
If the winners above managed to correctly guess the bonus ball – as 121 233 players did for a R10 return – they would be millionaires.
The winning PB numbers were: 13, 35, 46, 47, 50 and PB: 05
In the PB PLUS draw, a single player hit the jackpot, matching 5 numbers plus the bonus ball, for a return of R10 250 209,30.
At the other end, 104 351 players managed to guess the bonus ball for a return of R5.
The winning PB PLUS numbers were: 07, 08, 19, 44, 50 and PB: 11
Since there were no big winners, in the PowerBall draw, the jackpot grows to a guaranteed R50 million for Friday’s draw, according to national lottery operator Ithuba. The PowerBall PLUS jackpot and will be worth R2 million next time around.
