ITHUBA, operators of the National Lottery, are reaching out to the holder of the winning ticket for the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot worth R32 785 982.10 in draw 2 360, which occurred on 16 August 2023.

The winning ticket was purchased with a wager of R40 and was bought at a retail store in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape.

While the news of this life-changing win has thrilled many, the winner remains unknown.
Winning tickets are valid 365 days from the draw date.
However, ITHUBA has encouraged the winner to act swiftly to begin enjoying their newfound wealth and fulfilling their dreams.

Meanwhile, in a double celebration of National Lottery luck, the Western Cape also celebrated another jackpot win this past weekend.
In the latest Lotto draw 2 369 on Saturday, 16 September 16, another lucky player is yet to claim a staggering R16 565 209 jackpot.

Validate your ticket
Ensure you have the winning ticket for the respective draw. Double-check the numbers against the official draw results, available on the National Lottery website and at authorised retailers.
Visit the ITHUBA regional office
To claim your prize, promptly visit one of the regional ITHUBA offices. To locate the nearest office, visit the National Lottery website or contact the National Lottery helpline.
Complete the claim form
Fill out the form at the prize claim centre. Make sure to bring a valid South African ID or passport for verification and also three months bank statements.
Receive your winnings
Once your claim is verified and processed, you will receive your prize money according to your preference – either as a direct bank transfer or by cheque.
Winners who win R50 000 and above receive free trauma counselling from professional psychologists and financial advice from accredited financial advisors absolutely free. At the same time, winnings are paid tax-free directly into the winner’s accounts.
