Eigon Oliveira – the man who bears a strong resemblance to Brazilian football player Neymar – has been fooling fans at the Fifa World Cup in Qatar.
The impersonator was spotted in stadiums during various matches and in public.
He’s even sported the complete Brazilian football kit and tricked fans into believing he is the real deal! According to CBS Sports, he’s also had security guards clearly confused!

NEYMAR LOOKALIKE TRICKS FANS
With Eigon Oliveira’s near-identical features and dress sense to the Brazilian captain, football fans have been easily fooled into thinking that he is Neymar.
In a TikTok that has gone viral – shared by sports channel ESPN – the “fake” Neymar is seen getting off a bus in Qatar, wearing the famous Brazil football kit.

Fans swarm the unknown man and even beg him for his autograph – which he happily obliges in.
In another, the man is seen attracting attention in a football stadium, clearly duping both spectators and security guards. The doppelganger had to be quickly escourted out of the stadium – for his own safety, claim the Associated Press.
On another occasion, a store in Qatar had to be closed after a crowd surrounded Eigon, mistaking him for Neymar.

Eigon’s resemblance to Neymar has led him to start a lucrative business as an impersonator. – he even has over 1 million followers!
And if that’s not impressive enough, Eigon has even met the football legend himself, whom he shot an ad with.
