Apologies in advance if you weren’t ready to have your hearts melted this evening, but we’re about to leave you with very little choice.

Footage uploaded onto the Tangala Safari Camp channel on YouTube shows a mother leopard keeping a watchful eye on her young cubs, before settling down to give them a thorough wash.

It turns out bath time for the young ‘uns is quite the struggle in the animal kingdom too, and the mother’s playful kids try to squirm their way out of her clutches. One little scamp succeeds, leaving a sibling to take all the attention.

Leopards in Limpopo

The wonderful footage was captured at The Thornybush Game Reserve in Limpopo just before this weekend. Tourists managed to record their sighting, and it has since found its way to the reserve’s media team.

Sightings of leopards – particularly in such candid fashion – is incredibly rare. Yet these guys seemed very relax during their morning stroll.

With everything else that’s happening in this country, it is easy to forget the beauty that surrounds us. It’s an honour to share a heritage with these magnificent creatures, who evidently know a thing or two about parenting.
