Linkin Park released their Carpool Karaoke video which they filmed less than a week before the band’s frontman, Chester Bennington’s death.

The band shared the 23-minute video of him singing and laughing alongside them and comedian Ken Jeong as they drive around in Los Angeles. In the video the band and Ken sing some ‘golden oldies’ such as Outkast’s ‘Hey Ya!’. They also sing Linkin Park fan-favorites such as ‘In The End’ and ‘Numb’.

The band went along to post the video on their official Facebook page saying: “With the blessing of Chester’s family and his band mates we share this episode and dedicate it to the memory of Chester.”

It is a bittersweet video with Chester saying “this is probably the greatest day of my life”.

His wife Talia Bennington also shared the video on her Twitter account with the hashtags #MakeChesterProud and #F*@kDepression. She also asked fans to donate to the One More Light Fund created in his honor.

On July 20, 2017 the world was shocked to hear that Chester’s body was found in a private home in the upscale Palos Verdes neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to E News. The Los Angeles county coroner’s office determined his cause of death was suicide by hanging. He was 41.

At the moment, Linkin Park is getting ready to perform a tribute concert to Chester in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl on 27 October with other artists in the line up such as Blink 182.
