Comrades, we are not here to fight, and then … [video]

This video shows a completely different perspective of the violence that broke out during a Varsity Cup rugby match earlier this week. In the video, protesters who are standing up for workers’ rights at the university, are seen peacefully walking onto the pitch.

There is no provocation until another group of students approach from the stands. One of the student leaders are clearly heard saying: “we are not here for a fight”, but it seems some of the students in the crowd were.
