Victoria’s Secret will no long

In the latest fashion news, lingerie company Victoria’s Secret is set to stop selling swimwear after this year.

The company is almost as well known for their swimwear as for their lingerie and according to Marie Claire they’ve even produced a TV swim special for CBS to show off the swimwear collection.

BuzzFeed reported that the company will be replacing some of the space with active wear.

Victoria’s Secret parent company L Brands revealed last year that swimwear represented about $500 million for the brand annually, but did not bring in enough sales for August last year.

Les Wexner, the CEO of L Brands, reportedly said in a statement that the company “was making these changes to accelerate our growth and to strengthen the business for the long term by narrowing our focus and simplifying our operating model.”

Apparently Victoria’s Secret will also reshuffle and reorganize the business into three divisions, namely: Victoria’s Secret lingerie, Victoria’s Secret beauty, and Pink.
