Ah, the words “Valentine’s Day 2020” — it can be like music to your ears, or it can be the one day in the year that you absolutely dread.
If you’re a romantic and you have a partner that you love and care for, then Valentine’s Day should be something you look forward to and a genuine “walk in the park”. You know you’ll most likely get a note with flowers and chocolates, a romantic picnic or a dinner date — either way, you know you’re sorted and are in for a treat.
If you’re single after a bad breakup or single unintentionally (as in the one you admire doesn’t know who you are), then Valentine’s Day might not be the best day for you and that’s okay. It’s perfectly fine to dwell in misery for a short while and then proceed to love yourself. After all, the saying goes; “You can’t love anyone else until you love yourself.”
On the other hand — humour is said to be the best medicine and that’s what many people have done by posting memes on social media about their non-participation in the day. It’s sure to make you and others in the same boat smile. Here’s to the 10 best Valentine’s Day 2020 memes.
