The line-up for phase one of Ultra South Africa has just been announced.

Ultra, which is said to be the world’s ‘premier electronic music festival’, will return to Johannesburg and Cape Town in 2020 for its 7th edition with an exciting line-up.

IOL reports that since the first edition in 2014, Ultra South Africa has consistently boasted the world’s most talented DJs, unparalleled stage designs, and top tier production, and the 2020 festivals will be no exception.

Ultra 2020: Headliners

Headlining the 2020 Main Stage is international crowd-pleaser, DJ Snake, who will be back to close down the Cape Town and Joburg shows.

Ultra SA’s Main Stage will also feature South Africa’s own Black Coffee, who is one of the region’s proudest dance music exports.

Playing alongside these two legends is none other than DJ superstar Steve Aoki, who recently ranked one of DJ Mag’s Top 10 DJs in the world.

Afrojack is also expected to blow up the energy of the main stage while Jeffrey Sutorius, previously the frontman of Dutch supergroup Dash Berlin who is now carrying on the moniker solo, will be bringing The Return of Dash Berlin to the festival to reintroduce local trance fans to the iconic project in all its glory.

Johannesburg

Tickets: R800 – R4000 available at Howler.

A new album on the way?

By all accounts, it may be that fans are in it for yet another surprise from Black Coffee. The DJ recently revealed, in a video that was captured only moments after his set at an Ibiza closing party, that his new album could land on digital streaming platforms no later than January 2020.
