WEDDING OUTFITS TWEEPS WANT TO FORGET

When Somizi and Mohale tied the knot during an extravagant ceremony in September 2019, fans expected the pair to go all out. Especially with their wedding outfits.

But, what the former Idols-judge and his partner stepped out in, was according to Twitter, anything but.

During their wedding celebration, Somizi, known for his flamboyant fashion flair and his partner, Mohale, appeared in various outfits. Each more daring and extravagant than the other.

The couple’s unique ceremony made waves at the time as they instructed guests only to wear white paired with Christian Louboutin shoes.

Pics of the couple’s ‘Mummy Returns’ getup, designed by designer Gert Johan Coetzee, have surfaced again and Tweeps are still not impressed, iHarare reports.

After the wedding, Tweeps trolled the happy couple, saying Somizi looked like Pharoah.

Years later, the trolling continues, and the pair is even compared to “The Mummy Returns.”

EVEN MOHALE AGREES

Earlier this week, Mohale took to Twitter to joke about the way the couple, while still together, used to dress in matching outfits.

He shared a snippet of a loved-up couple wearing matching outfits and captioned the post with ” 🕯 🕯 🕯 Me and who 🕯?”

Soon after he joined Tweeps joking about the former couple’s Egyptian outfits.

He even added crying emoticons to the post.
