Man claims nephew mistakenly ordered 150 pizzas worth R16.9k

Pizza party?! A man headed online to hilariously explain how his nephew mistakenly ordered 150 pizzas on his Mr D Food app.

 A South African Twitter user had left his followers howling from laughter after heading online to share a funny thread about how his nephew mistakenly ordered 150 pizzas. According to the Tweep, the teen wanted to order 15 pizzas for himself and some of his schoolmates when he mistakenly hit 150 instead. The man hilariously goes on to claim that pizzas started arriving at the house in numbers much to get the surprise of the young man’s dad who tried to ask the delivery drivers to go back.

While the man told the story with so much detail he failed to include pictures and videos leaving many of his followers wondering whether there is any truth in it.

A local man had headed online to share a hilarious tale about how his nephew ordered 150 pizzas using his dad’s card.

According to @misu_zulu, the teen was buying the food for himself and some of his friends using the Mr. D app when the mistake happened.

In a funny thread, he details how the entire family was left flabbergasted when suddenly dozens of food delivery guys were arriving outside with mini mountains of pizzas.

“My brother’s son just ordered 150 pizzas by mistake using my brother’s credit card. The first batch has arrived and a shit storm is developing outside,” he wrote while adding, “So how it all started was, my nephew, invited about 20 of his matric mates to visit for a little celebration. They had a matric ball last week, I think it’s related to that. My brother’s card was already linked to his son’s Mr D app.”

He then went on to add that the teen wanted to order 15 but pressed the wrong number. According to him, the pizzas cost almost R17k.

Mzansi the wants proof

While many people laughed heartily at the post while asking for some pizza.

Others however demanded some proof that it actually happened.
