The popular fashion blogger and model Thick Leeyonce – real name Lesego Legobane – has been injured in a motor vehicle accident, as revealed through her Twitter account on Thursday evening.
It’s not entirely clear what happened. We haven’t been able to get hold of Legobane or her family for comment following their traumatic experience.
Thick Leeyonce still in ICU after car crash
Thick Leeyonce posted the snaps of her smash, and it seems she was fortunate to escape life-threatening injuries:
Fans had begun to wonder where Lesego was, after she hadn’t Tweeted or used her social media channels since the weekend. This was no digital detox, though.
The fashionista explained that she had been in ICU “for the past few days” following the crash. The car she was traveling in had overturned, and the vehicle was severely damaged by the impact. According to Thick Leeyonce, none of the family members she was traveling with suffered any fatal injuries
A flood of well-wishers flocked to her page on Thursday to share their thoughts and prayers. The influencer has spent most of this week in the Intensive Care Unit, but her journey towards recovery is already underway.
