Lotto: New draw Daily Lotto draw promises big bucks

While the dream of winning the country’s biggest ever Powerball jackpot is longgone, there is a new lotto game in town. The prizes aren’t quite as eyewatering as the Powerball, but your chances of winning are a bit better.

The game ensures daily jackpots as well as daily guaranteed winners.

The possibility of getting a pay-out is high, as share prizes go all the way up to division four.

There are 36 numbers to choose from, but even matching two numbers will ensure a payout.

Players can select their numbers through Quickpick or manually, for only R3.

The estimated jackpot starts at an astounding R100 000. This figure will change according to player participation.

When the Daily Lotto starts and ticket details

Draws will take place at 21:00 and will begin on 10 March 2019. Ticket sales will close at 20:30. Tickets cost R3 each.

Corporate relations executive at the National lottery operator, Khensani Mabuza, explains:

“Daily Lotto is unique from our other games in many ways. With this game there is no jackpot rollover, every cent of the jackpot prize will be won and when there is no jackpot winner, the jackpot amount will roll down into the next prize division and be shared among all players matching four numbers.”
