Prince Harry just got slammed as “privileged” after saying that people who leave their jobs experience better mental health. His comments did not sit well with social media users. Many of them criticised the Prince for what they believe, is terrible advice for poor people.

Prince Harry dragged after saying going jobless helps mental health!

Ever since Prince Harry sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah, he has gained a ton of critics. Everything he says is dissected as many look for more reasons to dislike the controversial royal.

His comments about mental health have landed him in the dog box online – for the hundredth time this year. Prince Harry advised people to leave their jobs to preserve their mental health while doing an interview about his position at BetterUp.

While discussing his role as ‘chief impact officer’ of the mental health start-up company, the 37-year-old spoke about how mental health is finally being addressed across the world. According to him, he would like to continue to “pioneer the conversation.”

Shortly after this, Harry discussed a survey that found that a high number of people were planning to change employers in the UK. He also discussed Britain’s “Great Resignation” that was brought on by burnout and high vacancy numbers.

He then went on to say that the fact that people are leaving their jobs in favour of better mental health should be celebrated.

“I’ve actually discovered recently, that a lot of the job resignations you mention aren’t all bad.

“In fact, it is a sign that with self-awareness comes the need for change. Many people around the world have been stuck in jobs that didn’t bring them joy. And now they’re putting their mental health and happiness first. This is something to be celebrated,” he said in the interview with Fast Company.

Netizens are not impressed

People are usually keen to discuss mental health in the work environment but they seemingly do not want to hear it from him. Many of them pointed out the fact that not everyone has a rich background to fall back on if they leave their jobs.

A lot of them also feel he is irresponsible for encouraging people to quit their jobs.
