Royal Wedding: Meghan Markle’s sister furious about not getting an invite
Family drama, eh? You’re definitely not the only one who has it.

Eish, family drama, guys. We already know that Prince Philip has beef (not of the roast variety) with Sarah Ferguson and will go to extremes to avoid her, but now there’s another spanner in the works.
Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle’s half-sister, has thrown a big ol’ strop after apparently not getting an invite to the royal wedding in May.
Meghan is due to marry Prince Harry on 19 May, but Samantha is ticked off after she claims she – and other members of the Markle family – was left off of the list of some 600 guests.
Samantha, who lives in Florida, hit out at Meghan and Harry on Twitter, according to reports from the UK. Her Twitter account is private, but she apparently said:
“Out of respect and humanitarianism, the Markles should be invited if 2000 complete strangers are.
“Our uncle, brother, me, best friend of 30 years, nephews. Our issue is not a matter of closeness. Family is family.”
Meghan’s mum Doria, joined the couple at the Invictus Games last year, and is expected to attend.
According to reports, it’s not the first time Samantha has hinted at the lack of an invite. She reportedly said previously:
“The Markle family is looking forward to our wedding invite.
“No one has one yet. Still waiting.”
Fans on Twitter tried to reassure her that it might just take some time for the invites to get to the States, but Samantha wasn’t having it.
“Well, everyone is making arrangements and it’s difficult to organise everything as you can imagine.”
Samantha has been grabbing quite a few headlines in the lead up to the royal wedding.
She criticized Prince Harry for saying his family is “the family I suppose that she’s never had.” She then Tweeted, that her sister has “a large family who were always there with her and for her.”
Meghan hasn’t seen Samantha since 2008, around the same time Samantha was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
“She was dealing with travelling the world and I never wanted to burden her,” Samantha explained. “I was dealing with, at the same time, progressing disability.”
Markle’s father, Thomas, is expected to attend the wedding, however, it’s not yet certain if he will walk her down the aisle.
