The highly anticipated Cape Town edition of Rocking The Daisies music festival is set to take place between 7 and 9 October at the Cloof Wine Estate, in Darling. Festival organisers have already announced that the likes of Will Linley, Blxckie and DBN Gogo will take the stage alongside Grammy-nominated international acts Clean Bandit and Kehlani.

Festival-goers who attend Rocking The Daisies on the West Coast will have to select a camping option that suits their needs and one is rather pricey…

ROCKING THE DAISIES CAMPING OPTIONS

This year for Rocking the Daisies, there are two camping areas for festival-goers, one called Daisyland and the second, a general camping area.

Speaking to Business Insider, Steyn Entertainment director Dale de Ruig said the Daisyland camping experience corresponds with accommodation offered at the Hallmark House Hotel in Johannesburg.

“We have been extremely fortunate in that, over the years, our Daisies clientele has grown to be vast and widely diverse. Our efforts this year are a step in the direction of reflecting the various needs of our comprehensive community.”

WHAT TO EXPECT AT HALLMARK HOUSE DAISYLAND

The most expensive option at Hallmark House Daisyland this year is the exclusive Black Coffee penthouse, available for R13 795 for two.

This camping option for two includes two beds with a duvet, pillow, sheets, towels, table, dustbin, chairs, plug point, light and electric blankets for extra warmth. The option also includes breakfast and an ensuite toilet and shower.

The second-priciest option is the Maxhosa Suite, which is similar to the Black Coffee penthouse but offers a smaller tent and access to VVIP showers and toilets for R8 995 for two.

CHEAPER CAMPING OPTIONS

If you are not too keen on the Hallmark House Daisyland camping options, there are other options for festival-goers.

As per their website, Rocking the Daisies has labelled their general camping area as “the simplistic charm of public school”.

This option is available for R295 per person and only offers showers, toilets, security and a 3x3m tent.
