Raging Bull Meats opens new retail store in north London
Raging Bull Meats, who won in the category of Best Flavoured Biltong at the Biltong Awards last year, have been producing South African style meats for over 4 years. Up until now they have been supplying online customers and a number of restaurants and deli’s throughout the UK, but they’re just about to open a retail shop in North London.
We spoke to Laurence Gluckman, the founder about his new business venture and what he’s most looking forward to with the new shop, he said, “I can’t wait to get the doors open and start having face to face interaction with our customers; we will be stocking all the SA goodies as well as the meat products we produce from scratch”.
We asked Laurence why he decided on North London for his new store and he had this to say. “Having moved to North London with my South African parents when I was a youngster, I have lived there all my life and discovered a substantial SA community here. There are already a couple retailers in North London that sell SA products but because we’ll be producing our own brand of biltong, droewors, snapsticks and boerewors there’s no middle man which means we’ll pass on that saving to our customers, providing those around the neighbourhood with quality products at affordable prices.”
It seems there is a lot happening at the Raging Bull Meats headquarters this summer, we’re told they’ve just supplied Saracens with delicious boeri and biltong for a Meet and Greet evening with the players and they’re busy working on new packaging and a brand new website. You’ll also catch them at the Lunch Food Fair in Islington on the 26-27th September.
The new store will be opening in the middle of September at 400 Finchley Road NW2 2HR.
