Phala Ranch is listed for sale in Dubai for R99.5 million [photos]

Phala Ranch, located in Limpopo near the border with Botswana, is up for sale and listed in Dubai for R99.5 million.

Phala ranch near Thabazimbi is up for sale for a whopping $5.5 million, around R99.5 million.

However, the game farm has often topped headlines in recent years as many often confuse it with Phala Phala, which the President owns.

PHALA RANCH LISTED FOR SALE IN DUBAI

According to TimesLive, the 5,000-ha Phala ranch has been listed on a Dubai Property domain after it was reported to be on sale. It boasts three bush lodges and wildlife. The Dubai Property domain also listed several amenities, which include:

  • Gorgeous Lodge
  • Hunting/Bush-Camp
  • Managers’ House
  • Butchery
  • Cold Rooms
  • Bars, Shop
  • Hangar
  • Warehouses
  • Landing strip
  • Helicopter pads
  • Electric Fencing.

However, it is interesting that the ranch comprises three separate cattle farms, which we bought and converted into a game farm that has fast become a tourist destination for many thanks to its galore wildlife and the epitome of luxury.

Reports have it that it has two hunting camps and exotic breeding facilities. It is located in Limpopo near the border with Botswana.

The game farm, which belongs to Vossie Lotter and his son Chris, is one of the best game farms of late.

THE REASONS BEHIND THE SALE REVEALED

Speaking to TimesLive Premium, the owners made it known that the farm has often been mistaken for the other Phala Phala, which has often made headlines recently.

The owners are selling the farm because they feel it is time to retire, and Lotter plans to move to the coast for a more restful life.

He also said they listed the farm in Dubai because that’s where most investors who want to invest in game farms, especially in South Africa, are from.
