In December this year, another video surfaced online that left South Africans with their tongues wagging. In the viral video, a man can be seen showering a crowd of revelers with cash. What makes it even more interesting is the fact that many believe the man behind the money is local billionaire, Patrice Motsepe.

SA believes Patrice Motsepe made it rain at Konka

In 2021, a Soweto nightclub called Konka went viral, with many people dreaming about paying the lavish nightclub a visit. While some complained about the high prices at the famous club, others just want to chill with the rich and famous.

It is 2022 now and Konka is still on everyone’s lips. Especially since a clip went viral of a man who looks like Patrice Motsepe showering crowds at the nightclub with cash.

The clip, which was shared on the social media application by @Kulani_cool was captioned: “Motsepe making it rain at Konka.”

South Africans just can’t believe it

While some people were convinced that it is indeed Patrice Motsepe in the viral video, others refuse to believe that the businessman would go to Konka and pull such a stunt.

Here are some of the comments made about the clip:

@Im_Maanda said:

“Motsepe doesn’t go to these places, and has an organisation to run….this is just a person who admires Patrice.”

@BukhoJoseph94 said:

“What’s going on eMzansi bafethuFace with monocle this country is wealthy.”

While we can’t verify that the person in the clip is Patrice Motsepe, judging by how he threw the money, we can say that he is very well-off.
