After a resoundingly successful season three, entries for My Kitchen Rules are once again open. Judges Chef David Higgs and award-winning artist, cook, guitarist, and vocalist J’Something will once again critique the home cooks’ dishes.

Entries are now open for ‘My Kitchen Rules’

Multichoice has announced that My Kitchen Rules SA is back in business and searching for the next home cooks looking to prove that they have what it takes to bring the heat to their pop-up cooking competition.

MKRSA sees a pair of contestants, passionate about food, open a pop-up restaurant in their homes, as each couple hosts their competitors and the two celebrity judges with a themed three-course dinner during the instant restaurant round.

Winners of the exciting competition will walk away R1 million richer. Meanwhile, speaking on the upcoming competition, J-Something shared this statement:

“My Kitchen Rules South Africa gets better with each season because the calibre of home cooks also gets better and better.

This past season we saw that the pandemic and lockdowns really resulted in many people killing it in the kitchen, and we know that we can expect the same – or possibly even better – this time around.”

The last winners are still joyous

Last season’s winners Izak and Wessel are still basking in their success and shared a heartwarming message with all of their supporters while touching on how they reached their success.

“It’s been hard work, but we poured ourselves into all the challenges the experience presented us, and meticulously laboured over every detail throughout the competition. The devil is in the detail, they say!

“It takes a village, and we would like to thank all of those who supported us along the way,” they said on Instagram.
