DJ ZINHLE: ‘FEMALE DJS, PERFECT YOUR ART’

On Tuesday 2 November, the Umlilo hitmaker dished out some advice to fellow female DJs. She told them that practice makes perfect and to wear whatever they want.

“Female DJs, perfect your art… don’t give them a reason to disrespect your work. Practice makes perfect. With that said, wear whatever you wanna wear & dance if it’s your thing… They are talking because you’re shaking the industry. It’s our time!” she wrote on Twitter.

It was the “wear whatever you want” comment from the Hair Majesty owner that caught the attention of male Tweeps.

While another Tweep thought that female DJs are shaking their bottoms rather than the industry.

“Lol we are talking (because) they are shaking their a***** instead of the industry,” commented a Tweep.

“Ooh yes they are shaking something alright just not the industry. Time to stand in front of a deck for two minutes and jump on stage to dance half naked for 30min than call yourself a DJ mxm,” commented another Tweep.
