Tessa Uys will be playing free concerts for four Mondays in June over lunchtime, in order to entertain and destress Londoners.

These concerts will happen every Monday in June at 1 pm on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of June and will take place at St Lawrence Jewry, Gresham Street, EC2.

“So many people love to come into the peaceful atmosphere of this elegant 17th-century church designed by Christopher Wren to enjoy these 45-minute recitals.

The piano in the church is also quite special. It used to be owned by conductor Sir Thomas Beecham and was donated to the church after his death,” says Tessa Uys.

By popular demand she will be performing with her duo partner, piano virtuoso, Ben Schoeman, on Monday 25th June, when they will be playing Beethoven’s 5th Symphony transcribed for piano duet by Franz Xaver Scharwenka.
