Bring a little home and South African flavour into your hearts and calendars. From dark comedy to gospel, braais to music; there’s always something going on for us South Africans living in and around the UK.
When: Thursday 14th July – 7:00pm
Where: St Mary’s Church, Goat Lane, Basingstoke RG21 7PZ
What: Over 12 years and now living in the UK, Mark Palmer has built up his reputation as being one of the clean and classy stand-up comics. With his comedic voice being heavily influenced by Jerry Seinfeld, he continues to be an audience favourite with his loud and yes, often opinionated brand of comedy. So it’s all about good transparent humour! Exactly what we need.
St Mary’s Church in Basingstoke are hosting him for the evening and all you need to do is let the Church Office know and pay £6 at the door. The cost includes refreshments and the performance will start at 7:30pm.
