Nominate exceptional South Africans in the UK for a South African Chamber Business Award
Do you know a Safrophile (somebody who is passionate about South Africa) living in the UK who deserves an award for the good work that they are doing representing South African business?
There are hundreds of outstanding South Africans representing everything that is good about our wonderful country South Africa right here in the UK.
Each year, a handful of these South Africans and South African businesses are rewarded for the excellent work they do at the South African Chamber Business Awards.
There are nine awards up for grabs at this year’s South African Chamber Business Awards. Anybody can nominate a person or organisation for an award, and the nominee need not be a member of the South African chamber.

- Business Leader of the Year
Awarded to an individual who displays outstanding leadership qualities which have contributed to the growth and successful management of his/her business.
- Entrepreneur of the Year
Awarded to an individual who has displayed outstanding entrepreneurial flair and successfully employed an original idea to launch his/her own business.
- Innovator of the Year
Awarded to an individual who consistently proves to be at the cutting edge of his/her field and employs new technologies to spur growth.
- Woman in Business of the Year
Awarded to a businesswoman who displays an enterprising spirit, determination and business acumen leading to success in the male-dominated world of business.
- Rising Star of the Year
Awarded to an individual under the age of 35 who displays great potential and is a breakthrough talent in any industry.
- New Business of the Year
Awarded to a small business that has made significant strides in achieving sustained growth.
- SA-UK Promotion of Bilateral Trade Award (New)
Awarded to a businessman or businesswoman who does most to promote bilateral trade between UK and SA.
- NGO Promotion of Trade and Development Award (New)
Awarded to a UK based non-governmental organisation that has done most to promote development orientated trade to and from South Africa.
- The Giving Back Award
For a business leader and/or company that has excelled in promoting corporate support for charities either within their own organization or generally across the private sector.
