Expect a colourful night of cultural excellence. Be it from South, East or West Africa, the LAGC’s repertoire of criss-cross rhythms, panapoly of songs and explosions of dance delivered with real vitality, will surely touch you.

The London African Gospel Choir was created to establish a platform of excellence for African gospel singers and musicians, and popularise the African interpretations of gospel music. Indeed, the choir’s current profile underlines how successful they have been in achieving their objective.

Established international superstar Annie Lennox endorsed the LAGC to the point of personally inviting them to perform at her Music Industry Trust (MIT) award acceptance ceremony. Bishop Desmond Tutu was so happy to hear them welcoming him to London for the . Parliament was moved to tears on hearing the Choir sing for the Nelson Mandela memorial service at the Great Hall, Westminster. Just recently the choir was asked to compose a vocal arrangement and sing on a song from the forthcoming album by Idris Elba.
