In conjunction with their current exhibition by South African artist Charles Sekano, The geometry of fate, Maestro Arts gallery in Wandsworth/ Putney presents a concert by students from World Heart Beat Music Academy.

Celebrating the significance of Nelson Mandela and the value of all people in society, World Heart Beat Music Academy, a specialist music academy for young people in South London, envisions a world where music, as a universal form of communication, bridges cultural, political, economic and linguistic barriers. Believing in the power of music to transform lives, the Academy creates educational experiences where young people are inspired to achieve excellence in a vast array of musical forms.

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to the Academy – a registered charity – to assist them with their work in providing disadvantaged young people with musical instruments and tuition.

Thursday 1 May – 7pm for 7.30pm performance (50 minutes music plus recital of Charles Sekano poem).
