Morocco has made history by progressing into the semi-finals of the Fifa World Cup – their first time ever to do so – and the team, and their moms, are completely overjoyed! In fact, the moms of players Sofiane Boufal and Achraf Hakimi celebrated the momentous win with hugs, kisses, and victory dances!

Morroco – who knocked football favourites Portugal out of the tournament – is the last African country left.

According to Time, they are the only African country to make it to the World Cup semi-finals.

Whilst football wives and girlfriends (WAGS) are often considered support structures behind the soccer stars, for team Morocco, it’s actually their mothers who are their biggest fans.

And this was evident when player Sofiane Boufal pulled his mom out from the stadium stands onto the pitch following their win against Portugal on Friday night.
