Uyajola 9/9 – the South African version of the US reality show Cheaters – has often been criticised for its aggressive and unethical tactics in exposing infidelity amongst couples. But this time, viewers think the show and host Jub Jub have taken things too far…

On Sunday night, the Moja Love show trended on Twitter after Jub Jub seemingly crossed the line in his quest for views.

And tweeps think it was less entertaining and more predatory…

In a quest to help Nomfundo expose her cheating baby daddy Bheki, Jub Jub and the Uyajola 9/9 team headed out on an early morning mission.

The team forced their way into the man’s home where they ambushed the man sleeping in his bed. In the house was the man’s embarrassed mistress Phumzile. And in typical style, Jub Jub tried to air fan the flames of the heated altercation by pulling off the man’s blanket and exposing his naked body.

“What a big penis!” Jub Jub said repeatedly to the camera. After the man jumped out of his bed, the camera followed him until he found his clothes and dressed himself.

At one point, the cameraman even followed him to the toilet where he relieved himself.

“When will this be over….Can I please go out?” the man helplessly asked the Uyajola camera crew.

“You’re disrespecting me”, he angrily added to Jub Jub.

“You’re not going anywhere”, Jub Jub arrogantly responded.

In the end, Nomfundo and Bheki decided to go their separate ways, but not before airing their dirty laundry for Mzansi to see.

On Twitter, many viewers called out Uyajola 9/9 and Jub Jub for their unapologetic invasion of privacy and violating the man’s dignity.

Here’s what tweeps had to say:

@AntiDudula: “Are we gonna ignore the fact that Jub Jub pulled a blanket covering this naked dude and ridiculed his nakedness after invading his privacy? Imagine if it was a woman. Bad conduct is bad regardless the sex of the victim. This is sad”

@Iam_Kardas: “Jub Jub violated this man and his manhood by pulling that blanket and showing everyone his nakedness. That was wrong”

@Merlot_22:Uyajola 9/9 always targets the poor, vulnerable people who do not know their rights and don’t own guns. It’s a deplorable show which needs to be shut down with a hefty penalty attached. I could never be violated this much and everyone involved lives to tell the tale”

@Morpheus_bennie: “What saddens me is that the vast majority of black people support this violation of people’s privacy…Disgusting!. Too low even for Jub Jub”

@callmechristofa: “From an editorial perspective how did any producer approve this? The editor really sat there and said let’s show this part. The producer agreed. The quality control guys also just let it through without questioning the content…hectic!”

@behaviouralsci7: “This clearly indicates that poor people do not know their rights. This show will never target rich people”

@2gudk: “I’m surprised how Moja Love approves such to be on our TV. Why is it no one takes them to court for such things though?”
